Anybody changed there own diff fluids yet? Do you have to use the Honda Hypoid 80, or can you use a cheaper fluid from Auto Zone. Honda wants 5.00 a bottle for the Hypoid and he said it takes 2 bottles?

Its hypoid 80 oil. They come in 8oz bottles, so to have enough to do it you have to get 2 bottles, for the extra 8oz needed to fill both front an rear. I went ahead and bought the Honda stuff it was like 3.25 a bottle.

Thats just my luck. All the dealer had was the 8oz bottles. I have about 7.5 oz left though incase I need to replace it again. Thanks for the info
