Final drvie= diffs. They normally dont take on water very easy. Dont be scared by what the dealer told you about the warranty. Most damage you do will be easy to cover up. I hit the mud and water pretty hard with bike. I even drown my bike out once. Not long after I done that the oil pump chain came off and I had to take it in for warranty work. I changed the oil after the drowning out and before I took it in for the warranty work I wiped out the air box, checked the diffs for water, and cleaned up the mud on it. They told me if they found that the bike had water/mud in the oil they would assume it's been abused not warrant the work. To make a long sotry short they didnt find any water/mud and done the work, so I wouldnt be to worried if I were you. Just make sure you swap out the tires and take off the snork before you take it in. They did take a long time to get it done, but they did get it done and even delievered it to me after I went up to pick it up when they said it was done, but when I got there they had just got done testing it and found out there where more problems.

warentys can be a life saver some times but if you plan on going all out wiht the bike i wouldnt worrry about it because more the likely they will find some way to balme it on you but if your just lookin into small things then yeah i would keep the warenty and just do a good clean up on it when takeing it in
Yes they are a life saver. Saved me $1700 in parts alone when the oil pump chain came off. Justin makes a good point though. If you plan on going all out they will eventually be able to tell where the abuse comes from and it would be a hassle to pull off a lift kit, snorkle, tires, dgl (not sure if it voids warranty, but I would guess it does) and what ever else you may have.
