Detroit Gearless locker Install Question.

I'm installing the DGL in my 98 foreman & the instructions say to remove the thrust washer from under the outer spacer.I have no washer under the spacer, all plates have groves cut in them so they are part of the locker.I do have 2 washers on top of the outer spacer. Are these the ones that get removed & were just put in the wrong place when the locker was assembled.I really need to know if when you guys installed yours did what did the washers look like, smooth or grooved/notched? it is possible they where placed in the wrong place which is not uncommon. Here are the instruction in color.

This is a link to the parts list of the locker 2, it is set up the same way. it also shows how everything is placed and shows the thin thrust washer that is removed.

Thanks Dirty,The 2nd link tells me what I need. The washer was just put on top of the spacer instead of the bottom.I wanted to be sure. I didn't want to have to do it twice.Moon
