Deep Exhaust

I'm ordering the HMF utility here in a few weeks as well. From what I hear, it offers the most power with the best sound. Deep but not overwhelming. I think it's like 90db? Mabey 96db at most. It should tell you. They also come with spark arresters which, i'm sure, dead the sound a bit.

with the quiet pipe insert its about 98 db, without its around 105 db. they are loud but do sound good.

i don't know too much about the hmf swamp series but from what i understand they are suppossed to be around 92 db. you said you didn't want a snorkle and i think they will come with a regular end and a snorkel is optional. haven't read anything about the performance standpoint though.

I have a pro circuit pipe. It is loud but not screamin'. I like it. A little pricey though.

HMF Utility is just plain obnoxious in my opinion. I had one on my Ruby...never again.

If you go with the HMF Utility and the quiet core you'll be alright. gotta have the quiet core though or it is to loud. It's $20.00 extra at ATV Outfitters.

with the quiet core does it have a deep sound? and with the quiet core in how does it compare to the stock exhaust as far as sound goes?

I have the HMF Penland Series and i dont think it is too loud. sounds good,it comes with a spark arrestor and quiet core which make it even quieter. i know someone with a utility series, and theirs is way louder than mine, i had a great power boost as well. i reccomend it. cheap too

what does it sound like? does it have the "screaming" sound? or is it more of deeper sound? where did u get it? any pics?

i think it has more of a deep sound than a screamer, dont get me wrong im sure that their are quieter brands, like the fmf powerline is supposed to be real quiet, but it is also real expensive.i paid 176 dollars for mine off a store on E Bay, i will go back and find the store name and such for you because i really like the quick delivery, only thing is they didnt tell me when they shipped it it just showed up one day bbut it didnt take long at all and it was kind of a good suprise. i dont have any pics were you can clearly see the exhaust, but i mud A LOT and it is holding up to the powerwashing nicely, and the mud doesnt really bake onto it and it comes off without staining it.good pipe.came with jet, spark arrestor, pretty good models specific instructions, a allen wrench for the end cap, and an HMF Performance sticker.

i dont mind the noise... i want noise!!! but a deep noise, not a screaming annoying noise. i like the pipe you just told about in your reply ilinimud... let me know more about that one please. thanks
