Have you tried the carb trick man. It gives you a lil better throttle response not really power.
Carb trick huh?? Cant say that I've heard of it, and my throttle response is kinda lacking wanna shoot me some suggestions
By carb trick, do you mean cutting the carb spring. I have done it, no power increase at all, just response.
yes do tell i would like to know.I want to try the carb trick myself
1. REMOVE YOUR SEAT
2. REMOVE THE FOUR PHILLIPS HEAD SCREWS IN THE TOP OF YOUR CARB.
3. REMOVE LONG SPRING IN CENTER OF CARB AND CUT 10-13 COILS OFF INCLUDING THE THREE BUNCHED TOGETHER.
4. REINSTALL SPRING CUT SIDE UP (OTHERWISE IT WILL TEAR THE DIAPHRAM) , MAKE SURE SPRING IS PROPERLY SEATED.
5. REINSTALL COVER MAKING SURE ALL 4 SCREWS ARE TIGHT.
6. REINSTALL SEAT.
7. START AND RIDE.

LIKE I ALREADY SAID THIS WILL ONLY IMPROVE THROTTLE RESPONSE, NO POWER GAINS. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT AFTER YOU CUT THE SPRING, ITS LIKE FOUR BUCKS FROM HONDA.
You can also drill the hole thats off to the side on the bottom of the plunger out to 1/8".
thanks

:welcome to the forum. $7.75 MSRP for the spring in the states. I don't know which online sites are best so I'll leave that to the other members that have dealt with them.
Just another Rip-Off example for Canadian Consumers ---- I just ordered a spring from Honda East Toledo for $8.00 ($42 in Canada) and then I called my dealer and Honda Canada (1-888-946-6329) and registered my complaint.
I also purchased my Rubicon from the U.S.A. and saved over $3000.oo including taxes, shipping and Transport Canada Inspection fee's.
We should all be buying our Bikes, ATV's, etc. from the U.S.A. and complaining about the double standard that exists between the Canada/U.S.A. pricing scam and the obvious Warranty scam for not buying in Canada ---- the $3000 savings is worth the no warranty issue.

I bought mine in the US (used) as well, and Honda wouldn't supply me with a recall letter (which you need to get it accross the border)because they want to charge $3000 more to buy in Canada... what a bunch of arsses. I called the border and they laughed and said that Honda was doing anything they can to make it impossible to import from the US. They said they've got lots of the same phone calls, and to just print something off the Honda website, and they'd accept it. I did have a lengthly conversation with Honda, was winning the arguement hands down until I used the "F" word by accident, and they hung up on me instantly.
That is so very childish of Honda ---- you can get the seller to supply the RECALL LETTER as well.
