I have a 2022 520 Rubicon Deluxe
1 Month old it hates winter .. I MEAN REALLY HATES IT ! ! ! ! the machine will not start in the cold and up here that is every day ... ( MAYBE THAT IS WHY IT IS BLUE )
- 1 Added a second battery in the trunk and a battery tender 2 amp version changed the stock lead acid to a hi output AGM.
Still no way the starter can role it over, and no, One can not use the manual puller as it is way to hard to pull over..
Changed the oil to 0-30 Rotula Synthetic t6 STILL NOPE ..
next is try a capacitor bank..?
or

CAN WE FIND A BETTER STARTING MOTOR UPGRADE
To a starter with more torque ?
Can Honda Engineers help on this as not much more I can do and we have lots of winter up here . In the Great White North. .
Yellowknife NT Canada.
- And my old 450 2001 Forman would start any temperature. New technology should be better.
and also I had A Yamaha 1300 Stryker V Twin and it even would start in the winter.. go figure..
I need help please..

I run two 75W silicone heat pads on the bottom of the engine (below the oil), this is on a 2018 500 Foreman. After a couple hours of heat, it starts right up. This is a plow rig, I use in Interior Alaska, and is a manual shift. I run the 5W - 40 Rotella T6 oil, year round.
