Do you really need a clutch puller to pull off the clutch on a 01 rubicon? Are there any other ways?

Yes, you need to use a clutch puller. Trying to pry it off may do some serious damage.
unfortunately i just bit the bullet and ordered a puller from my honda dealer. i searched what i thought was the entire internet and could not find an aftermarket puller for the rubicon. almost sixty bucks for the puller that i'll probably only use once. i love honda, i HATE all the speciality tools u need to work on them.
