They help out on manuals, just not as much on as the autos. I would still get one, I plan to put one on mine over the summer.

What exactly does a Clutch Kit do? I see alot of people getting one, and the people with big 28-29's seem to get them alot.

What do they do?

the clutch kit is a 500 rpm stall. The kit consist of stiffer spring for the centrif. clutch and allows the motor to throttle up before kicking the clutchs in. it helps getting the bigger tires turning in thicker mud. Its a great mod for the price.

It could help a manual tranny if we "dropped" the auto clutch...

similar to how all you guys pop the wheelies. The cluctch kit would make the clutch engage faster and not slip as much when engaged under throttle?
