The Power Steering may cause some added grief but I say go for it. I just finished mine. I did not pull clutch off of machine. After I pulled out old springs I removed the legs and assembled new springs on bench. Slid back in place and away I went.

If you can get just the springs I would go that way. For me at least I feel a little more at ease putting a Honda gasket back on....IMO. I think EPI sells just the springs but not sure.

Good luck.

It is a little different. Engages at higher rpm but still as smooth.

I agree, it will take some getting used to. You can really feel it when you jam through the gears, feels odd.
