I have tried to adjust my clutch on my 2000 450es. The nut is loose and the adjustment screw in the middel will not turn in or out. What can I do to adjust it?

it should move left or right, u may have some internal problems...or perhaps its seized up, try putting some wd-40 on it.
If the clutch isn't adjusted once in a while the adjuster will seize ... If you can't get it to turn the clutch cover will have to be removed and the adjuster loosened & lubed ..

Thanks for the info you sent me. Now when I remove the clutch cover is anything going to jump out at me that may give me any problems putting it back together?
just watch how it comes apart, you will be fine. the only thing in the cover that you have to watch for is the clutch mechanism the depresses the clutch when you shift the bike. it only goes back one way.
