If your talking about putting it on the nut on the choke, then no I don't see why a little dab would hurt anything. I would just be careful to not get it on or in the cable.

I am tired of tightening this cable....it comes loose after about 5-6 cold starts. I am afraid of over-tightening it...should I be? I turn it 1/4 to 1/2 turn, it is fine for awhile, then slowly becomes loose again.

A little lock-tite won't hurt anything, but should take some of that aggrevation away.
