Charging Question for 1999 450ES

Recently replaced the rectifier beacuse it was blowing a fuse and shorted out the plug in connector.Seems to be starting and running fine.i checked out the voltage at the battery after letting it run for a few minutes and put the lights on.While idleing with lights on i was getting around 14.28 volts.When i rev up the bike that would drop to around 13.29 volts and back up to 14.28 when i let the throttle go.Is this normal reading

Bike should be warmed up .. Battery in good condition & charged .. Hook up volt meter start bike with lights on high beam .. At 5000 rpm volt meter should register 14.7 - 15.5 volts ..
