Hi,

I have a TRX450FE 2003 and I need to change the display to MPH from KPH

can this be done, if so can anyone point me in the right direction? If not, are there any after-market replacements that will work?

Thanks in advance!!

To my knowledge there is no way to change them but I never really looked into it either.
Mine is in KM/H but it's the canadian version obviously. You may have o change the display or something.
Do you have a GPS? You could mount that and it would show you MPH.
Do you have a GPS from your car, or a handheld one? You could mount that and it would show you MPH.
or do the math in your head .....lol
there is 1.6 kph to 1 mph
So if he/or she got a new gauge cluster from an USA version, do you need to change the speed sensor too? Or do you have to change the cpu too? Just wondering

Awesome idea!! Will just buy a bracket for my iphone and download an app!

Its only because I'm going to make it road-legal and here in the UK, you have to show the speed on MPH & KPH at the same time for some ridiculous reason which I'm still to find out!

Thanks for all the replies!! :happy
Just make a sheet with all the important speeds in KPH and a conversion to MPH and then do the conversion as you ride. hahahaha
Personal opinion here guys....i wonder why when the display clusters were built for both US and Canada; they should have made a built-in button to adjust that to a personal preference. Similar to the hourmeter/mileage reader.....Probably due to cost and manufacturing rules; plus Canadian-made machines being metric dominated on the speedometers is a requirement up here....but since i grew up with the metric system it not really a big deal; just saying an option button built into the dash for user choice would have been nice:)

YOU DO NOT NEED TO CHANGE DISPLAY. I just figured it out.

All you have to do is start the engine, set up the display so it shows the odometer... once you can see the odometer, press and hold the button until it changes.

THIS IS ON A 2016 HONDA FOREMAN...

I didn't have any luck with a 2002 Foreman, but thanks!
