Not sure what your talking about. What clip on the carb are you clipping.
its not a clip im clipping its the gigantic spring there is when u take off the head of the carb...i was reading on a rincon forum that it allows quicker throttle reasponse...
I think that trick only works on the Rincons.
I just did it on my foreman and yes it has a faster throttle response.
Alright, so cut it directly in half??
I left mine a 1/4 inch longer and it works just fine.
are u saying that u cut a 1/4" off of the spring? I have also seen on HL, A few have tried it with no luck on the foreman's. but from what u are saying, u did notice a difference in throttle response. Please give alittle more detail with how much u cut off.

Thanks Terry
The spring is a total of 4 1/2 inches long and I cut 2 inches off.
That clears it up. You have to explain things to us dumb hillbilly's

all the time they tell me at work thats why the yankees talk bad about us
but anyways has anyone tried this with the new 500

Why do you guys always call us yankee's? Personally, I hate the Yankee's and don't like being associated with them. What do they call people in the south? I've always called them southerners, not hillbilly's. Just curious.

LOL....i dont think it has anything to do with the baseball team, besides wouldnt you be an Eskimo?

on the other hand.... even though we are farther south than most of the country, some people in Mississippi,Alabama,etc....who consider themselves from the "deep south" dont think Florida is a part of it
go figure
LOL........no, i'm no eskimo, i don't think i could eat whale blubber, seal meat, rotten salmon heads or pickled moose nose. You can't get any deeper south than Florida can you??
Florida is so far south, I think we ended up in the north east some how.
thats the problem, the north east and canada sent down all their parents and grandparents so now we get no respect from all the other "southern" states...even though it is snowing in most of them right now, today it was a brisk 76 degress after the cold front moved in and i am about to turn on my heat because my thermstat says 70 and i am a little chilly
yea...NIC...i cut my spring in half and took my resonator bottle of my foreman 500...BIG difference...
I did it today. While out ridin' i remembered to do it. I went back to the
truck & got my snippers & cut about 2 inches off of it. It made a noticable
differance. I could feel it immediatly.
I couldn't tell a difference, but it was the first trip with the 28" zilla's. So I cant really give any feed back. But the bike ran great and never miss a lick with the tires.
