I finished my snorkel 2in. inlet to a 1.5in hose into the airbox, K&N filter, Supertrapp exhaust (all discs installed), anyways, I put a 142 DJ mainjet, and lowered the needle clip to the last postion. It seems to run strong, anyone think this may be running a little rich? Best way to tell I guess is pulling the plug correct?

jetting

I am running a 140 main jet. I couldn't find a 142. All I could find was a 140 and a 142.5 main. I lowered the clip on the needle jet to the 3rd notch from the bottom. Mine seems to be running excellent.

I might be a little lean and I'm going to check it again this weekend. I don't think I'll need to go to the 142.5 main, but I might lower the clip 1 more notch (2nd from bottom) to fatten it up a tad.

What does your spark plug coloring tell you?

IM going to put a new plug in for this weekend, should put a few hours on it, and check how it looks after that.

I would go check mine now, but for some reason it decided to get all cold here in FL this week, to cold to mess around with it tonight.

How much differance does jetting the carb. make? I put a K&N air filter & noticed a little differance, but not much. Does jetting give it more power & make it go faster or what?
