I'm running a 48 pilot and 138 main. It has a 2 inch snorkle down to
1 1/2 I D (below the plastics) to the airbox. I cannot get it to idle down.
I took the side cover off of the carb and cleaned/lubricated the idle screw and it looks to be working properly. it's running at about 1/8 throttle if I had to guess. I've put the clip on every postion with and without the washer and can't get it to idle down.
It's also backfiring when I shut it off.
If I switch it to a 45 pilot then it idles a little lower but it coughs and shuts off. It was also backfiring when I shut it off using the 45 also.
Any suggestions?

is this the bike with the stock exhaust? if so a 138 main is way to big. the foreman comes factory with a 130 main. I would try one size up on the main with the mods u have listed. I have everything u have plus an aftermarker exhaust and I am only using a oem 135 main.

Yeah, Stock exhaust.
I'll look at the jet again but that last number looked like an 8 and it ran fine before my old muffler got clogged. I'll play around with the main and see what happens.Thanks

Update:
The mainjet was not an OEM it was a DJ 138.
I went to the dealer today and they had no 130-135 OEM Kehein jets.
They did find me a DJ 130 and gave it to me.
I came home installed it and it is still idleing really high and backfiring when I shut it off. I moved the clip up and down to no avail.
Then I went a switched the pilot from a 48 to a 45 and it seemed to bring the idle down a little bit. When I went in to adjust the clip I noticed a bunch of fuel in the carb and now it won't start. What the **** am I doing wrong here?

Are you getting good fire to the plug? Are you sure the carb is good and clean, nothing plugged up? Maybe check your timing to make sure it hasn't jump time. I am at a blank without looking at the bike.

Thats a thought but the **** thing ran better with the old clogged up pipe than what it does now, Thats what's so aggrivating and doesn't make sence. I'll check the wiring to the plug tomorrow and look into the timing. Thanks for the advise.
