Canadian Trail Edition info please

I know there are mostly Americans on this site, who cannot buy Canadian Trail Edition, so my question is to those Canadians who have this bike. I currently own '04 450ES and thinking of buying newCTE. Please give me any info , likes, dislikes problems with this bike. I will be buying new, 07 or 08 in the fall. My husband had the first model year and did not like its size and steering, mind you he had 26" mud bugs on which did not help. I will be putting on mud light radials. He also did not like that it did not jump, now he has Grizzly 700 EFI with power steering, what a wussy. Thanks
