you dont need an exaust snorkel it should idle under water
but it wont i have turned up the idle and everytrhing and it stills dyin out in the water
just dont let off the gas under water.
do what i did and go find a old trailer hitch reciever under a truck in a junk yard and cut a chunk out of the side of the frame of it and then bring it back and take ur tip off ur muffler and draw a circle and cut that more with a cutting torch, then grind the outside so that it will fit in the end of ur muffler then drill ur holes, MAKE SURE YOU DRILL YOUR HOLES FIRST, I FORGOT TO DO THAT SO MY HOLES WERE ALL OFF CEPT THE TOP...then bring to a welder and he does his stuff then u smooth it all out and stick it on

i found that with a 2in pipe on the end of an HMF utility exhaust it gets very quiet but when u get on the gas it sounds like i cant even describe what it sounds like
Have you extended you carb vent lines and plugged you carb drain?
yeah everything is extended all 6 lines i try not to let off the gas but you know it happens

I chose to snorkle my exhaust for that exact reason. We ride in some of the deepest and most crazy holes. Sometimes its tough to just stay on the bike never mind keep the throttle hammered constantly.

If you can weld...Just go to your local muffler shop....get about a 30" piece of 2" pipe bent. Weld it to your stick tip and ur good to go. That way if u decide to remove it you can get a new tip and all is like new. I bet the muffler shop wouldn't charge u too much to do it all 4 u.
hey tbryant, looking at your bike and reading what you said about not being able to hold on...makes me want to see some pics of the junk you put your bike through...share the wealth my man, lets see some pics.

Heres one. These ruts only got deeper...Check out the size of the trucks (in the background) I ride with. Riding with them...you come across a deep hole or two.
