That happened to my 06, but I didnt stop, I was in the middle of a very nasty trail, about 2' deep with mud and water, and about 5 miles to a gravel road. Needles to say, it filled my entire motor with mud and water.

where did you get the bigger shaft at? mine is broke and i would like to upgrade to the bigger shaft like you did
