while i was riding last night i noticed that it is my breaks squeaking (i think) they only squeak when i hit a bump. could this be my breaks? if so, how do i fix it? my bike is about 10 months old, should it be time for new front breaks?
Big clump of dirt in between the pad and the rotor. At least mine always does this after riding in the peanut butter mud.
Tip: Turn your atv up on the back racks when cleaning with a pressure washer and point the nozzle towards the caliper and roter. Not to close don't want to damage a boot. But you should see dirty water coming out of the housing, just keep spraying until the water coming out of the roter is clear and it should be fine.
I have heard that the front breaks are self cleaning with the shroud around the caliper and the pad but I'm not to convinced.
