Bogging down

I have a 05 foreman 500 and just put 28 outlaws on it. I took it out this weekend and i noticed they did very good but in the thicker mud it would bog down bad(wouldn't want to go).I have a clutch kit in it and i have a k&n airfilter i was thinking about buying a jet for it.Do you think that a jet kit would help this problem out???can't really affored a pipe yet thanks.

you need the jet kit and the pipe....it will wake up for sure then.
I agree with Robb. I did the performance kit from ATV Outfitters. They have the best price of anybody. The kit comes with an HMF Utility slip-on pipe, HMF Jet kit (this kit has 3 jets, 160, 165, 170), also a K&N air filter w/ an Outerwears Prefilter. It's only $299 plus shipping. When you do the kit it's like waking a beast up.
i knew I shouldn'ta looked at this, haha, there goes 300 more into the foreman
yea i know i need a pipe just can't get on yet.I had a 04 rubicon and bought a jet kit for it,and i still have all the jets left from that kit dyno jet.like 5 or 6 came with the kit.would one of them work instead of buying more??and if not what size jet you think i need to get the most out of it thanks.
when you do the pipe, you will need a 170, with out a pipe and just a filter im not sure what jet would work.

If you tried another jet I would try the 165 because my stock one was a 162. Depending on what elevation you are in there could be a different stock jet, i'm not sure if they all have this one. What ever it is maybe you could just try the next one up.
for all of us that live 2' above sea level the 170 works fine

you got that right..my buddy has a video of us riding saturday in some thick mud..i'll try to get it from him and post it..his is stock and lagged down in the mud..mine with pipe and jet just keep on slinging mud.. ..
the torque the pipe adds is awsome once you get the air/fuel perfect..i took me about 8 rides and adjusting it before i got it perfect..
