Have any of you stayed at the Candy Rock Mountain resort? How are the trails including the Paiute near here? I am planning a July vacation there. The rates are reasonable, and it appears it is a good location for access. Any real world knowledge will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Historian
ya gonna bring your own ATV's or Rent some at BRCM resort or in nearby in Marysvale?

you need to read the thread below. Utahs dirty little secret. If you bring your machines from WY you will need to buy $30. per machine use permits to ride them in Utah.. UT got some kind of stupid pissin contest goin on with Wy.. I think it started with boat access on Flaming Gorge many years ago. WY charges UT folks for the privilige to ride ATV's in the Cowboy state.

I have not stayed at the Big Rock Candy Mountain but have rode my ATV over there to eat, food is excellent. There are many good places to stay in Marysvale Area, the Piaute trail is great and easy access from anywhere riding your ATV from the resorts / cafe's /gas stations, right to the trail. I think you will like it at the BR Candy Mountain Resort. Its just one of many good ones.

I live and ride near the Paiute trail. the trails are great ,not sure about the resort because I never had the need to stay their being 15 miles from home.
Some trails are limited to 50 inch wide acces so if you ride with a utv be prepaired . otherwise come and enjoy!!
