bi/tri's need opinions

i just bought some 25' mudlites and they dont measure 25" tall. i get almost 24" aired up to 7#. i was initially talked out of 26" tires. ive been really happy with these. i ride mostly trail and some mud and water.

from what ive read, the 27" bi/tri option is good for all situations. i ride a lot of trail with mud and water thrown in. ive got the smallest ride, but i have bigger jewels than the others i ride with. just need the tires to follow through for more clearance.

i need thoughts as far as wear and tear on my ride. also will there be any kind of clearance problems, i do not want to lift or trim?

where can i purchase them? the only place ive found is www.mud-throwers.com. any other places?

you dont need a lift for 27's, we need to get together a ride around central ky sometime, show some of the big boys how a little honda runs
i love mine, no complaints what so ever. very smooth. or as smooth as my 26" 589's i had before
hey deadmullet

where did you get your bi/tris from? ive only been able to find them on one web site. ive called around and noone else has heard of them. i just want the best deal that i can get.

i got mine from Robb

but do a search, somebody posted another place to buy them on here not too long ago. I have heard that they are getting to be hard to come by nowadays
I love mine, i run my for the trail/mud and when i all out mud i run 28" outlaws
I love mine. They dont rub unless i ride double. try www.traxms.com some fourwheeler dealerships are starting to sell them now. i got mine from a local dealership and got them for 390.
Highlifter carries the bi/tri's ( they are in their 2006 catalog) I got mine through my dealer who in turn got them from Highlifter. I don't remember what they cost but I know it ended up being a little cheaper than mud-throwers was with rims lug nuts and center caps all mounted up and ready to bolt on and ride! As far as the ride quality, they are a great mud tire and a very good trail tire as far as the "ride" goes, however, the lateral stability isn't the best I have had. I did have Mudlites on a Rancher and they seemed to have better side to side traction than the bi/tris when its a little slippery. And by slippery I mean if you have alot of clay base ( I live close to Mud Creek in Texas) and it gets wet and alittle muddy on top, it is very hard to keep it going where you want to if you are going anywhere near 10mph or so. I dont know why they do this, maybe its the big treads not having enough contact patch to grip. So except for this one gripe, they are a great tire!

I got a used set about two months ago. I finally got them in some good mud this weekend. They are awsome these things just don't stop pulling. We got in some of that playdoe mud up over the hubs and I was pushing a rancher 4x4 with almost slick tires and a 300 kawi 4x4 with slick tires (I mean no tread) at the same time threw this stuff.
wow those tri claws look nice...i almost like them more than the laws...
ordered them on friday. will be in and put on on wednesday. looking forward to getting them.

ill let ya know how they do.
When I said they were cheaper than at mud throwers I meant after buying them on rims with everything it was cheaper than getting the same thing from mud throwers with shipping included. And by cheaper I am talking within a $5 bill since I was going to the dealer that week anyway! Mud Throwers has some good stuff though, if I buy more I will probably get them through them since its 30mi to my dealer.
