I am about in need of one, but in my 01, I am still on my original battery.
I have a 00 450 es and it is still the original battery. But i think this is it's last winter.
All depends on how battery was first charged. My 06 needed a new battery within the first month due to improper charging from dealer. I believe they called it sulfating. If your battery is properly, fully charged at time of installation it should last a long time. I have had great luck with Interstate batteries.
I'm still on my first one but I have had to charge it once but that was due to the winch draining it one time. I got the box wet and and it shorted out.
I got 7 years out of the original battery, so I bought an exact replacement. 7 years, that's why they cost $75.00 +.
