Battery strap

My battery strap came off and I want to know if I disconnect the battery will my hours and miles reset? I would think not but I'm asking before because my luck it will. But I guess it would not be an all that bad thing if it did reset it. Anyway someone let me know! Thanks

that should be stored.

I had my battery unplugged when I did my winch and it didnt even reset the trip.

I have disconnected my battery 5 or 6 times and have not had a problem yet. 1 time was for about 24 hours when I did my winch install.

I had to reset the clock but that was it. I duct taped the bottom strap and wont have to worry about it for a while.
