First thing to do is try another battery, preferably a good quality AGM type like Honda puts in the quads when new. I've seen some weird issues with Lithium batteries including one that self destructed - split wide open without warning.

Sounds like your new battery is defective or there's a pretty major drain in the electrical system. That's pretty rare with Honda quads, are there some aftermarket parts involved or accessories that connect to the 12 volt system?

The voltage should rise as soon as the engine is started, if not then there's something wrong. The stator should generate power as soon as it's running and the v-reg keeps it from over charging (yes, around 14 volts is normal). You'll have to find what drains the power when not running, with a voltmeter connected you could unplug the components one by one and watch the meter.

Right, it was the 450 of Kram's that drained the battery while shut off. The battery dying on yours has to be in the charging system if it occurs even with a good battery.
