i got one

i just got one and actually just put it on tonight...

came with, k&n filter, prefilter, jets, hmf exhaust....

i have a few complaints though.... jets didn't come with any tools to adjust fuel screw, no springs or anything, just the lets in a plastic bag....
oh yeah and no instructions.

the only instructions i had were how to remove and install the new exhaust which was a no brainer if you have any common since.

but other than that, i got the kit in about 5 days. took two to install it.
so far so good.

Got mine in a couple of days but I live in NC. They emailed me the tracking number and the customer service was very good. Just call them. If you want a little more power and the foreman to sound like a beast then the kit is worth every bit. It took me a day to install mine just check out my pics. I also have a video of the sound too. Its in the video and pic section of the site.

Mine came the same way. I talked with HMF over the phone because I had read about changing out the needle, spring and such with the Dynojet kits. They told me that all is needed was to change the main jet and adjust air/fuel screw. Granted I wish they would send a wrench to turn the screw, I just worked it out and used a dremel tool to cut a slit in it so I could use a flat screwdriver.
thanks for all the answers. i will be ordering mine when my tax refund comes in. how many turns on the air/fuel screw.
2 1/2 to 3 turns out
i bought my big wheel kit from ATV OUTFITTERS. they were exellent they upgrade my wheels for free to get them shipped out faster was going to be two day shipping but i got the wheels and tires the next day
dose anyone make that speical tool for the air/fule
Do you always need to adjust the air/fuel? I haven't got to ride alot since I installed the kit, but I didn't touch the mixture. It seems to be fine but everyone talking about the adjustment has gotten me wondering if I need to go back.
your running the motor very lean, lean is more powerful, however your engine has a large chance of kablooey. I would highly suggest fattening up the mix.
I am by no means a mechanic but doesn't the hmf pipe and filter allow the machine to breath much more making it run leaner. The jetting however does just the opposite allowing more fuel to pass making the machine now run richer. They should somewhat cancel each other out. I understand that jetting can vary between each bike and so the results are not the same for all machines even if they are the same make and model. HMF reccomends turning the A/F, but after installation my bike idles perfect. There is no hesitation or engine stumble. I know most people are adjusting there mixture, but before you adjusted did it idle/run good or did it need to be adjusted so it would? All info is appreciated!

Yes, Dynojet sends one with their jet kits and I often wondered if you could just oder the tool from them. Might be worth a call to someone who hasn't gotten their performance kit yet. I didn't realize I needed the tool until I had everything tore down in the driveway and had to improvise.
i'm done.

well i did my kit a week ago and finally got to ride yesterday...

when i installed mine it idled fine...

but when you gave it gas it would just pop and stall...reached under and turned the screw 3 turns out and it did the trick...

ran good all day, submerged the entire bike and it kept on goin...

i love honda's ....

by the way, i cut a small groove in the a/f screw so that i could adjust it wth the screwdriver that comes with the bike in the tool kit...

my only complaint is the wait time on the penland, ordered it on the 9th and still no stuff
The reason is that all the exhaust from HMF they make when time of orderd. When I called for info on the power kit he said that he just orderd 29 of them and they should be in at any time. But by the time I place my order they already had them in stock. The penland he probly didn't had them in stock and is waiting for HMF to ship it to him before he ships it to you. As soon as he shiped my stuff he sent me an email on the tracking number.
yea thats what he told me too, i was just figuring i might have at least got it shipped by now
