Are you talking about a log arch? the kind that you pull like a trailer and it holds the big end of the log off the ground?Montanajacks.com sells a log skidder but it is very expensive,it's a flat piece of steel bent like a banana,when you pull it lifts the log.This kind doesn't look hard to make.

Yeah I would copy what montanajacks sells for a ridiculous amount of money. I would think a metal shop could bend you a piece of steel in that same shape.
