ATV Log Chain Holder

Hello all made the following Log Chain Holder's for my ATV's I use them alot for pulling tree limbs up to a central work area and then go back for another limb and was tired of having to chase the Chain all around the Rack and stuff like that. Just some 1.5" Flex PVC Pipe that I cut a groove to slid down the Racks and then 2 hose clamps to hold them tight.

Wanted something simple to put on/off and that would give a little also.

My dad has Metal 1/2" tubing bent in J hooks on the back of his home built Would Crate Box but when you bump your ribs into them you end up with a pretty good bruise.

anyway enjoy thought I would share.

That's cool!.....I'm skidding out logs all the time and I keep the chain in a storage box which is kind of a pain.
Glad you like it.

yep so far they have worked out great. really a time saver so that I can unhook the log wrap the chain and go back for the next pull. and no more chain fall off the rack or gets wedge under the rack etc...

Pic of me and my helper making the holders,

here is one of the better ones that I have.

Though the old girl needs a new tranny this year. last summer I lost Reverse in July and August I lost Drive so now top speed is only 50mph and I'm afraid that 1st and 2nd are not far behind in the 727 Auto that is in the car now. Some day soon I gotta pull it out of storage and drop the Tranny and take it in to have it rebuilt. But I have to wait till my $$$ are better to afford the rebuild job.

any way enjoy sublime out.

Man! that's a nice Charger ! I prefer the '68 over the '69 or '70.I like the round taillamps and open grille on the '68's. I'll try to find a pic of my ' Cuda.
