Just curious if anyone else is running a SuperTrapp exhaust? I'm not 100% sure that I've got mine tuned right I think I'm currently running 8-10 discs. Last time I checked, the plug looked ok. The exhaust itself is starting to turn a deep amber brown color after a few months of use. Is this normal? I'd like to take mine in and have my jet kit installed but I wonder if my dealer will understand the whole SuperTrapp disc thing...

I'm no mechanic so checking the spark plug is fairly new to me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

yes that is normal and i dont know if you knew this or not but if you would spray window cleaner on the pipe it would make it get a brass/ goldish color.

also when you do this, make sure you dont tuch the pipe with your hands or there will be finger prints on it.

I'm currently running the idsx with 8-10 discs on my 500 and it seems to be fine with the exception of a small , small , small bubble kind of backfire when i turn my bike off after a good ride or on a cold start!
Does yours do the same??? Thanks

Jennifer has one on hers & it does great. I think there are 12 disk in it
at the present time. My buddy Kurt has one also, & has some spare disk.
I am thinkin' of puttin' them in Jennifers. Ain't it the more disk you put in
it the more power & louder it gets?

The more Discs, the more places for exhaust to escape (between the discs) the more power and louder it gets.
