Lots of new members been joining and lots of em are in NC. I've been working in the Charlotte area since June 2010, got family here, and wouldn't mind trailering the quad up and riding a few weekends in nearby areas during March since I should be working out here still. Anybody do family riding, trails, or know of good parks.......I'd be interested in going.

Probably the closest to you when your in Charlotte would be Carolina Adventure world.....

Thanks. Sweet info....def wanna check out CAW. Brushy seems too restrictive. We can't get in with our tire tread being more than 3/4 of an inch. What's with parks closing at 5 p.m. up here?

Yea the 3/4" tread thing is so stupid.. Ive never been there for that very reason !
you could also check out Uwharrie National Forest.. thats not very far from Charlotte either ?
Its more for Jeeps and stuff but theres usually quite a few ATV's there.. Its very rocky
If you are close enough to go to Goldsboro NC go to Busco Beach they don't have any rules other than a helmet rule from what I see. I love it down there. I'll be there May 27-29.
hey lest get a ride up for Busco for may 27, 28, 29. I will be back from Iraq maybe only by 5 or 6 days bit ill be back. lol Lets make plans to get up, drink a few beers, get muddy, get to know each other, and have some fun.
If I trailer to Charlotte, I'd be riding on the weekends.....so distance isn't much of an issue. May is too far out for me to know and that's Memorial Day weekend that I'd more than likely be in TX for a ride at a local park.
^CAW is the shizz tee, start up a thread about something in march, and there'll be a few of us probably coming to meet ya lol. had 7 today there.

The only problem with CAW is the lug restrictions, and it is more expensive the Busco, I do want to go there n try CAW.

CAW don't have a tire restrictions anymore except paddle tires and tire chains.
One more thing anyone ever been to Uwharrie to go riding? My group is going riding and camping the weekend of April 9th. Anyone more then welcome to join us.
