Another Reverse post.....

Well I didn't want to jam a nut in reverse cable because I want to use brake lever to engage and tried the washer but the parking brake didn't work very smooth. Took handle off and drilled a hole in the bottom of the R pin. Put lever back on and pushed the R pin down through the reverse cable mechanism. Put a black self tapper in the hole I drilled in bottom of R pin and walla. I have to pull back on brake lever like I wanted and if I don't like it I can just remove screw.

I'll see what I can do tomorrow, I have never posted pictures but I'll give it a shot.
That's a good idea. I didn't want to have to pull the brake lever at all,so far I haven't had a problem coming to a complete stop before engaging reverse, but it would be better to use the brake.
hey is there any way to get the reverse pin out i would like to put a bolt in there i like that you still need to pull the brake to reverse. if not i'll do what you did good idea man!
I don't think you can get the pin out because on the micro fiche it shows the handle and pin as one piece. Here are some pics, not very good but you'll get the idea:

Here's another:
and the last one, I don't know how to draw on attachment but you can see here the self-tapper holding down the R-pin:
HELPFUL HIT DON'T NEED WASHERS OR PULL ANY PINS JUST LOOSEN YOUR CABLE UNTIL IT GOES INTO REV. WITHOUT PUSHING ANY BUTTONS
I want to pull the brake lever, otherwise I would just use the nut like Honda Mech. I don't ever look at my pod and sometimes I forget if I'm in 1st or 2nd so I tap the down arrow just to make sure. I would sure hate to jam Reverse.
