Railroader, I think you may want to take robbs advice a definetly prepare for redcreek. Because this is what awaits.
Just kidding. It's not all that bad and you can even ride a stock bike there. But more fun can be had with a waterproofed bike.
QUOTE ("Robb":32keunvs)I'm a little lost here. Where is all these vents & hoses. There is one by my left foot that I don't know what it is. I feel it all the time but don't know what it is. That sole little tube may be why others can do water wheelies I can't. Do we need to rejet since we have K&N Air filters? Do we need different exaust?
First off dirty foreman that is a great looking bike. I hope you are going to come to the ride at redcreek with us.you have some work to do! The tube hanging from the bottom of the carb, is your drain tube, you need to stick a screw in it, or simply attach it to the clap bolt on your rear driveshaft.
There should be 2 vent tubes tee'd into one on the top of your carb, that line then ends at the plastic thingy in front of your gas tank, extend this line to your handelbar or something.
You might want to rejet to gain the maxium performance from your K&N, although its not entirely neccessary.
