High Lifter's website says the Ricochet has a oil dranage hole but it has to come off to change the filter(Rubicon). The Ricochet can be used alone though, as the AP must be used with the AP front skid. Ricochet makes that nice rear diff skid too.

I would like the AP alot more if it stopped where the Ricochet does and didnt extend so high up into the front bumper.

Too funny, after seeing the Ricochet pictures above I was thinking the opposite (the Ricochet didn't have enough).. Of course I have been known to molest a few trees on the tight trails in my area I think it all depends on the area you ride in and your riding style. Currently my factory front "skid plate" has more marks on it up high than it does down low which tells me I need the AP style... .or some tree avoidance lessons

In reality if we could combine the positives of each style we might have the perfect setup.
Well, maybe not as little as the Ricochet, but if it stopped just after the winch instead of having the hook holster thing it would look alot better.

Have we found an answer to if the AP front skid can be used with the Warn bumper?

Tommy you make a good point. The lights could be mounted different though I am sure. I like the way they look on the top of the bumper.
