Aluminum or Steel Fairlead
If using synthetic rope does it matter if it's a steel of alum. fairlead. They tell you to use alum. does anyone know the reasoning behind that?

I still use a steel one with my rope, I try not to pull at extreme angles. Alum. would be better because the steel can cut the rope
I have the alum for mine when I put it all on. They say it's better so the rope don't get pinched in the rollers and if you had any damage to the rollers it won't harm the rope.
