If its 2003-2005 there is a a/f screw at the bottom of the carb, can't miss it. Also might want to try upping the idle. If yours is 2006+ then you'll either have to but a EFI tuner, or take it to your dealer and they should be able to adjust it with their diagnostic PDA thing.
you would screw it in. on a foreman the screw is on the bottom, front, middle of the carb. you'll probably need a special driver for it, you do on a foreman and rancher.

I would recommend the tool from Honda to do it, if your going to use the screwdriver approach wear a welding glove or something. You can access it from the left side, just take the side panel off and reach over the exhaust (which is why I suggest a welding glove or a long sleeve shirt if your going to do it while running.)
