you shouldn't need a new cv joint just regrease that one and install the new boot. from what i remember you shouldn't need any special tools to do this, my buddy did one before it only took him like half an hour.I have had a tear in my outer, front cv boot. I am going to replace it myself and I am wondering if I need to replace the cv joint also. When taking it a part, will I need any special tools, or parts to replace it. Thanks for any replies, I want to be sure i have everything be fore i start.
