Hi. I have a 98 foreman 400. When the fuel valve is in the on position the machine runs rough. When I give it and throttle it sputters and back fires then dies. When I turn it to reserve it runs good. There is plenty of fuel in it. Any ideas of what may be wrong?

Maybe the screen in the tank is clogged.

that or the peacock itself is dirty and not opening all the way in the main position?

Thank you all for your help. The screen was partly clogged and the petcock also had stuff in it. I cleaned both out and the machine runs great again.
