while riding i noticed my foreman started to spit and sputter when i almost had the gear wound out (3rd 4th and 5TH) and could smell it running rich. i made it home about two hours later when it shut off like i hit the kill switch. now im getting no fire to the spark plug. the plug and wire is good kill switch and ignition switch are ok and no blown fuses. what went bad the cdi box ignition coil or the stator? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Like said above, double chech the kill switch to make sure its fine. Could be the CDI or coil, with you stating it losing power while riding, I am leaning more to the cdi box. It is located under the front fender in front of the stirring stem. Check all you connections to make sure they are not corroded or full of water
