Not a problem, actually have been meaning to but it's been nuts and haven't had time to get on here in a bit but not going to leave y'all hanging! No worries Jeep, I figured that would be the consensus, just wanted to see what y'all thought about it. I actually got started this evening, then .....SQUIRREL!!!!! Some stuff came in for the 450 from Partzilla and had to bang some of that out LMAO!!!! I'll get back out in the shop tomorrow and get it going and will take plenty of good pics for ya. This should be a hoot!!! And I'll tell ya right now I'm not the fastest when it comes to this stuff anymore since my illnesses have invaded my body. My hands don't work like they should and it takes me way longer than it used to for what we'd consider "normal tasks" and has been one of the hardest things in the world for me to deal with but I give it all I got for as long as I can and tell myself that Rome wasn't built in a day! I'll get er done!!!!
I sat down and looked at the manual and went over everything as far as gaskets, oil seals, bearings, seals and all that and am positive I have everything but can guarantee you there will be SOMETHING I missed as we all know how it goes lol, so I'm not expecting a seamless project but hopefully less eventful as some other things have went with her in the recent past. I've been in it but not to the degree I'm fixing to be so thank goodness I have the shop manual. There's so many little things to watch and look for when getting the gears in the tranny back in with punch marks and all that, which is something I'm not familiar with but fixing to be! I'm gonna say TooDeep would be the go to Guru on the ol 300's should I have an issue? Jeep, I know you are but limited like myself and the 500 world is more your thing, but ya dang sure ain't no dummy with any of em! Well, y'all wish me luck and I'll be back in a day or two with pics and updates for y'all! 😁
