500fa and 500fm carb difference

Hey

I just ordered a carb for a 2006 honda 500fa because i could not find one for a 2006 honda 500fm. I noticed that there is one difference in carbs.
The 500fm has a valve assembly on the left side of the carb and the 500fa does not? will it make a difference?.....
Everything else is the same.
