i have a 2006 honda rubicon and on the 4-wheel drive light it blinks 5 times. does any one know wat that code mean...

first off this sould be in Rubicon 500 page and it would be front finel drive problem. my foreman did this about a month ago when i was deer hunting and i havnt noticed it doing it since

Code #5 is front final clutch system circuit malfunction ... If you are testing it yourself I could email you the file ..

Is the bike out of warranty ..?

Ok I emailed you the section #23 from the 2005-06 TRX500FGA Honda PDF shop manual .. Do the tests for code #5 and post back ..

hondamech i tired that all and i guess that wasnt it but the batt went bad. got a new one put in it and now it doing great.. thanks for all the help....

Likewise i have had a flat battery (2006 Honda Foreman 500) and on my last two hunting trips been using the recoil starter, my 4x4 light has been flashing and at times have not been able to engage 4 wheel drive. Replacement of battery has cured this

ya we just put it on charge which fixed it then we went out and bought one y we dont have to worry bout it.. first i whould charge it... save bout 80 bucks

I am haveing the same problem but my battery is working great starts with no problems shits good what else could it be? is there anyway to manuly enage it?
