I took my 06 Foreman through the mud yesterday, and both front wheels pull when in a straight line, but if you are at an angle, only one will pull...lockers are really cool, and very popular. The only thing bad I have heard is that they will break the axles if you are not careful....other than that, people love them

I think that is oppisite because it evens out the torque between 2 wheels instead of 1 wheel but thats what I think I love my locker
also u can tap ur front brakes and some times it gets both front wheels spinning...
i have one on my kawi, i love it. if i knew how much it helps when i had my rubicon i would of had one. if you get one you will get alot of use out of it, even if you are not a pure mudder.

i did some serious mudding this weekend with my foreman. untill u get the locker(like myself) holding the front brake works wonders, never had a problem with only 3 wheels turning when i did that. only thing is that it will dogg down the eng, but doing it got me out of some nasty pits. so untill then, front brake. what it does is places equal pressure on each wheel which kickes in the crapy limited slip. my .02

EXACTLY!!!!!!!I went muddin' yesterday, and I had the Nasty mud past half of my rim,Plus I bottomed out!!!!I got out with the front brake and a little bit of shaking!!!!The only bad part is that you think the mud won't be so bad,but that's all going to bite your A$$ off when you get into the mud.
ima have to try that front brake thing yall are talking about, i think both my tires were turning cept when i get in stuff so thick that the rear tires have trouble turning, then one of the fronts stopped turning and had to lean and yank the bars to the side that was turning to get it to pull on the edge of the rut...never noticed how much side lugs kick A$$ when ur bottomed out and all your wheels are just spinning the mud and not touching the ground at all and you have to use the sidelugs

its a beautiful thing, vamps are wonderful
any one know were u can get a locker for front for 06 foreman 500
