Hello all,
I bought an year 2000 Foreman 450es for cheap, because of a blown engine. I bought another 450es (was told from an year 2001) engine that was from a wrecked unit. Also, I'm not a full mechanic, more of a fix-anything monkey, so, I apologize if this topic is seemingly stupid...

My dilemma is also in the pics. But, I am wondering if there was a change between a couple years around the year 2000. I've tried to identify what that hole with the bit of oil at 6 o'clock in the 1st and 2nd pic is. That is the original engine. The replacement engine (in the 3rd and 4th pics) has that hole capped off, and the wiring is not matching entirely, either.

Was the replacement engine not an ES?
What are my options with the 2 engines, or, should I just look for another engine that does not have that hole capped?

Thanks for any help!
