im thinking about buying my friends 450 it has 27inch gators and its all stock the only problem is it has bin siting for long time about a year or less its a 2000 or a 2002 dont rember he wants 1500 for it he says the only thing worng is that it needs new gas,oil change,oil filter,new spark plug, and a crab rebild kit. do u think that is a good deal i will be using it for muding but i got my tricked out ranhcer for that so this would be more for my mom or my sis to ride

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me, maybe tell him that you will do all of that to it before you buy just to make sure that it runs well. It shouldn't take too long to get running if it is in as good of shape as he says it is.

yea i can do that he also told me i can pick between the 450 wich is a 2000 or a popo 500 gesss what i said lol
also with 27inch vamps how hard will it be to turn the bars cuz i know i can turn them but i got my rancher for mud and my mom and my lil sister would be using it would they have a hard time

I have 27 bugs on my 450 virtually the same tires and its easy to steer. I would buy that in a heartbeat, helluva deal!

i know tahts what i told my mom she told me to pick this or a 450r and i told her it ant for me its for her but do u gusy think my rancher would be abel to out mud it my rancher has a hmf,snorkel,27x10x12 vamps,k&n and a few more stuff

One way to tell which year model it is is to check if it is
full time 4wd. If it is, it is a 2000 model. If it has a yellow
thumb switch that switches it from 2wd to 4wd by the right
hand grip, it is a 2002. Also where it says 4x4 on the side
panels it should say Traxlok right below where it says 4x4.
