Wife's Rancher AT has not turned into a 1 wheel drive in the rear. I'm guessing stripped splines in the ring gear.

First thing I checked was prices on whole diffs vs buying just the ring gear/seals. Looks like the 09-14 is $500ish, while the newer version is $300ish.

The schematics on the 15-up look like they might be swappable, but this pic of a later rear diff shows 4 mounting points where the earlier rear IRS diffs only had 2.

That said, this ad also claims to be for a 2015 420FA and it looks like my 09. Guy said he bought it for his 2011 and it didn't fit.

@toodeep, have you happened to compare the two styles to see what changes have happened?
