Give me by the end of the day and I'll have some of my pic up!!!!!!!!
I started to pull mine apart to show you what the mount looked like, then I
forgot that I had the mount welded to my bumper so it would be stronger!!!
but here are pics!!
I just bought a 420, it hasn't even arrived yet but I'm looking into winches. I was looking at the warn 2500lb and the gorilla 2500lb.

Any opinions? I know Warn is 'the' winch to get but they're quite pricey. I'm certain there are nice winches out there that are more affordable.

I was also considering Viper and for a budget winch, Champion.

Yea man I went with the Viper and its pretty strong for a 2000 winch!!!!
I have a warn RT25 on my foreman and I love it, but they are kinda expensive.

Really expensive here in Canada.

Costs $700 locally to get a 25 installed...that's why I'm looking for other options.

The Gorilla looks pretty good.
Keep an eye on ebay for warn winches. a 2500 will be lots and you can get it delivered for about 300 - 400. When you get it shipped make sure it is USPS because UPS will gouge you on the brokerage fees. I get most of my aftermarket things from the states because it seems that all the local, guys are well above anywhere else I can find.

What shipping is expected for one? I looked up some and saw anywhere from $75-$150 in shipping costs, tacked onto the $249 price tag for the TR25...
$75-$150 seems high for shipping, mind you they are fairly heavy. Even still that put you half the price of a canadian distributer.
I can't find the ebay company that I have used in the past but here is a link to a dealer that ships USPS to Canada.

I have had very good dealings with these guys and recommend them to all my buds. They still blow my local crooks (dealer) out of the water.
Just remember to get it shipped USPS or else there is another 50 bucks for a brokerage fee.
its the 2500lbs one. yes i would recomend it. the ebay seller is outdoor2you and he is a very good guy. resonds very fast and the product is always as explained. i got the winch and mounting plate from him in seperate auctions, cos when i got mine the plate was not out yet, and after i got them he walked me through installing it. i have not had a problem with mine and its been under water, packed with snow, worked very hard and it still works great.

hope this helped

I tried to buy from that seller, but he absolutely refused to send to Canada....so I had to get a friend in Ohio to buy it for me.

I also bought the mount you linked to.
thats odd. well hope you enjoy it

I ended up with a foreman 500 instead so I had to change my mount order, I hope it still works.
