3 (hopefully) Easy Sunday AM Questions......

I got three questions for you, two of which pertain to my '08 foreman.

1) What’s the easiest way to change out the main jet? In the old days we'd pull the slide and rotate the carb 180 degrees, but I don't see that happening with all the wiring and other connections.

2) What's this hole and plug for by the seat release? I don't see where it is an access to anything underneath the fender.

3) Wha’ts a POPO? I'm not much into texting, but I figger its part of the nomenclature.

Time to go play in the snow!

not sure on question 1, my bike was jetted and rejetted by someone else...as for question 2, i have the same thing in the same spot, i think it is to run wires through so you wont have to drill a hole urself, if i ever have to wire something from the back to the front or to the battery that is the easiest spot, if u look in ur picture where the seat seals down they have a lil dip in the seal or ridge and i think if u were to run a wire through the hole then go through the little valley in the ridge then it can go to your battery or whatever.....question 3 i think means polaris

CliffBurton~

I dove in and got the main jet changed, so that part is done. I spent an hour in the archives on jetting and I'm going to save the rest for the shop when I take it in for it's 200 mile service .

I see your point on the hole and cover (DUH). There's enough room there for some 0 guage house supply wire!

PoPo is Polaris? I guess in this PC world Poo Poo might be a little too offensive.

Thanks for the info,

Scott

The actual reason for the hole.. per the dealer when I purchased mine was for adding a prayer on..... its for running lines or tubes. But I suppose it would work for anything you need to run through there.
ok so teach me what is a prayer? on an atv.
The hole is for the coolant reserve tank on the FG/FGA model ..
rockbottom12 he probably ment Sprayer not prayer
