The 27's look stock on there... Looks good.
Looks real good
loos like they belong on there, hope they work as good as they look !
Took a short ride due to rain but from but they bite. Long ride planned Saturday will be better test.
I just put my htr's on my 15 Tuesday and it looks way better. I won't be going for a ride till next weekend cause this weekend I'm installing my winch. Can't wait to see how they do.
Tore my wet yard up. Short ride in the woods on muddy trail they hooked up nice. Threw big chunks. Made 1st gear useable but still had enough to stop and go in 2 nd.

That's good to hear, I was alittle worried about the power aspect after the 27's. I have rode it down the street and back and it seemed to have not lost much power. One thing I noticed is if I don't let mine warm up for a few minutes maybe 5 minutes it seems to have quite a bit less power ,once it warms up all the power is there. I don't just start and go but 1 minute of warm up should be enough for it to get oil flowing and o2 sensor warm ,maybe Im wrong . Does anybody else notice that?
Mine definitely takes a few minutes to warm up. I've noticed the difference.

How do you like them? I am pretty set on upgrading my stock Maxxis to these in 27x11-12 and 27x9-12. Any rubbing issues ever? Was playing around with the steering today and it seems pretty unlikely that an inch more rubber all the way around will rub anything
Have to ask, how did adding larger tires make first gear useless?
Larger tire raise gear ratio's, making first gear a taller gear than stock, meaning you have less power now on taller tires than before on smaller stock tires?
if you felt 1 st gear was low before adding taller tires, it should now be geared more like second gear?so?
just wondering?
I'm really happy with them. They're not a dedicated mud tire but the def hold their own in the deep stuff. Even on the road they ride smooth. No rubbing issues any where. Could probably run 29 s easy and still clear everything. Bigger tires made 1st useable. With light stocks you could run first about 6 feet before shifting. Going bigger changed final ratio enough to pull out in first without losing any power.
Did you loose a lot of top end speed we really don't have much to loose ! Lol
OK MY bad I miss read the post before LOL
SO sorry my bad!
Speedo reads 45. I'm sure it off with size change. Probably a little faster now. Honestly when we're going all out on trails its plenty fast.
