Keep us posted on what you find out. I'm guessing that your machine is a DCT since you are having problems? Can you share any symptoms that you are experiencing with your machine not shifting properly? Thanks.

The bike displays a code 52 , 5 long and 2 short dashes '-'... doesn't know which gear it is in while driving sometimes and displays the code.. when the bike is turned off while displaying the code it cannot be turned back on for about 20 30 minutes before it displays N again... a real pain in the ass since there is no foot shifter. The dealer I brought it to up North said they will put a foot shifter on, highly.recommend as all my troubles would have been avoided had I had one (given that there isn't a bigger issue, updates to come)I’m curious as to what shifting problems you are having. I also have a 2021 Rubicon Deluxe but as of now I don’t have any shifting problems.

Hello all,Starting this thread to address the shift problems in my brand new 2021 Rubicon 520 brought into the dealership last week looking to hear from them in the next few
Gonna post updates as they come as i've heard I'm not the only one with these issues.
Cheers
UPDATE MAY 2021Any updates from the dealer? I am still waiting the arrive of my 2021 Rubicon Deluxe DCT. Getting a little worried now with this issue. Another YouTuber with the same machine said it's happened twice over the last year, but for him, he only has to shut the ignition for a few moments and the issue goes away.
Hey Greg, just wondering do you have any information on the the recall? Bought my 2021 Rubicon back in March and since then I have had the issue where the bike seems to not know which gear it is in (maybe 3 or 4 times now). I have been lucky enough where I switch the key to the off position, restart the bike, and everything starts working as it is suppose to but if there is a recall I would like to get this fixed correctly.UPDATE MAY 2021
There has been a recall on the software that runs the electronics in the bike. The dealership had to do a full flash reset on the system and they also reinstalled a new neutral switch. Took it out for 6 hours yesterday and she ran like a top. Seems to be fixed.
Hey Brent, unfortunately that's all the information I have.. had a bit of a language barrier at the dealership as it was up in Northern Quebec but from what I gathered service only told me there was a recall on the ecu and he had to do a hard reset on the whole system. They also replaced the neutral switch.Hey Greg, just wondering do you have any information on the the recall? There is a service bulletin now for this fix / software update in Canada now - # iii - 1 - 21I had the new shift map updated on my machine a few weeks ago and it has worked perfectly since. Any worthwhile dealer should be able to help you out. Otherwise call or email Honda customer service and be sure to get a case number logged like Brock A. mentioned.

My 2021 DCT EPS was having issues and shifting really hard. Got the proper update done and it now runs amazing. Shifts super smoot and no issues with it getting stuck in gear. So just make sure the latest software is installed and you should be good! Awesome bike when it’s shifting properly!Hi All,
In the process of buying a new 21 Ruby Deluxe w/DCT...Based on what I have read, I am concerned and heavily considering. Suzuki KQ 500...From what I have gleaned from this site, it appears that most troubles go away after flashing the ECM. Is this true?
Should one also expect the dealer to have this latest update or would that be part of a recall?
TIA
